The commands NOMAINWIN and MAINWIN are compiler commands. They works as directives. The reason is that the compiler found these commands earlier than the program is starting. You can use the commands only one time. It makes not the different if you place the commands at the beginning of the program or you place it in a sub, for example the sub for trapping to close the program.
The MAINWIN command does not working if you have placed the NOMAINWIN command. The MAINWIN does not show the mainwin window, but can only be used for sizing the window. You must give the columns and the rows after the MAINWIN without a comma.
MAINWIN 40 15 gives a mainwin window with 40 columns and 15 rows. Notice that this works only without a NOMAINWIN directive.
Another directives are the window variables UpperLeftX, UpperLeftY, WindowWidth and WindowHeight. You can place a window with UpperLeftX and UpperLeftY and give the window a size with WindowWidth and WindowHeight. The variables must have the correct syntax. All the characters in lowercase or uppercase does not working. Liberty BASIC gives a hint that the variables are not correct.
You can use more windows with the same initalize of the variables. If you make later a new initialize for the next window, the values that you has earlier are overwritten.

As soon as the book is finished, I'll let you know. In between, I'll come here with some nice examples. Maybe I'll translate the book into English as well.
